That follows through the bleak into the black
Take the unlit road through the wretched pitch
to the cold dark door of the Witch

It's easy to get lost in the wicked gloom
A thousand different ways to meet your doom
Try not to lose your soul in some ghoulish ditch
On your way to house of the Witch

The Witch is known throughout the wood
Delicious is her spell
The cauldron of the Brewess
Gotta smell it for yourself
She's already cooking on halo of the moon
The brewing Brewess and her great, long, magic wooden spoon

Brewess she stirs, potion, you crave
Brewess she does magic tonight

You step out of the trees for little chat
If you're nice enough she'll let you pat her cat
And if fortune smiles you might get your Wish
When you enter the house of the Witch

She's got everything to do the deed
Every ingredient to brew her mead
The potion will boil and smoke will twitch
On the big black pot of the Witch

She dropped a little blood and she sprinkled with sage
The color of the brew is very very strange
A spot of Devil's milk and she gave it a stir
Bear's foot, bat's wool, blood of Hephaestos and myrrh

Brewess she wailed her spell she sang

The Witch is known throughout the wood
